…just a moment ago there is innocent silence, not a breath of air stirs, nothing moves – but then suddenly everything goes into overdrive and a real racket breaks out. All kinds of styles collide madly, polka displaces slow waltz, old music gets tangled up in the contemporary web of the present, classical music gets new clothes, hot love songs melt cool jazz… nothing seems to be a foregone conclusion here, or is there an invisible hand directing the action?
