Biography

There is hardly a more successful German-speaking women’s cabaret duo than the Kernölamazonen. With their Styrian-Greek charm, they combine words, music and acting to create a fast-paced mixture of cabaret, comedy and musical theater. Their stage career together began in 2005 at the Vienna Conservatory, where Caroline Athanasiadis and Gudrun Nikodem-Eichenhardt met. Since then, they have had a clear mission, namely to spread love and pumpkin seed oil.

The first full-length program Lieber-Liebes-Abend (Today: Liebes-Lieder-Reisen: Reloaded) was not long in coming. This was followed by the programs Jagdlust, SOKO Kürbis, Was Wäre Wenn, Kugel und Keks 1 & 2 (Christmas program), the concert program HEPPI-PEPPI with live band and the Best Of. In summer 2021, they celebrated the premiere of the new, highly anticipated cabaret SEXBOMB forever. So there is still plenty to keep the laugh muscles going. Because in autumn 2025, the KERNÖLAMAZONEN will celebrate their 20th anniversary program.
